Chinese A lvl results came out today and i got a D overall and a pass for oral! Thank God so much for it! I’m really happy about it. I’ll never have to take another chinese lesson again for the rest of my life. Spoke to Yang Lao Shi, my secondary sch chinese teacher over the phone afterwards to tell her about it, hope she still rmbs me haha.

Speaking of freedom, let’s talk about american idol. Time to check in on my fav 6.

I think Siobhan did a totally fantastic job with ‘Think’ that blew me away. She’s super cool. She has a tattoo, she blows glass and her uncle is the bassist of Stryper (i think?), how much cooler can you get! Lily Scott was good too, really good. I thought Michelle was pretty good too, but dropped in standard a bit. But she absolutely deserved to stay, i thought she was one of the better ones there. As usual Bowersox was good, but i’m not throwing my support behind her just yet. She’s got enough supporters anyway. Overall, siobhan and lily were the highlights of the show for me. Then there’s bowersox.

As for the guys’ side, Michael totally stole the show. I didn’t think he had much in him after last week, but that rendition of a James Brown classic proved he deserved his spot in the top 12. Ah but as with crystal (gotta stop calling her bowersox lol), he’s not one of my favourites. Alex Lambert was great too! He’s getting better, i hope he makes it to the end. :) Andrew Garcia was um, just disappointing, to say the least. Hope he scores a better song next week. Oh and casey james. I thought he did pretty well actually, he could handle a rock song, the judges were just being anal lol. Overall, mike and alex were the highlights of the night.

Alright gotta catch survivor now! Missed the earlier timeslot due to late cca dismissal.
